State of Tennessee Gibson County

Know all men by these presents that we Robert Sellers Charles Forrester Barnet

Brand Jeremiah B. McWherter of the county and state of aforesaid are held and

formely bound unto John D. McDowell Chairman of the County Court for said county

and his successors in office in the sum of thirteen hundred & seventy four

dollars & 92/100 to be paid to said Justice or his successors in office or

assignes to which payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs

executors and administrators jointly severally and formerly by these presents.

Sealed with our seals and dated this 7th day of April 1846. The condition of

the above obligation is such that whereas above bound Robert Sellers was this

day chosen and appointed Guardian of David S. Wallace Setha Wallace & John H

Wallace heirs of Samuel Wallace deceased. Now should the said Robert Sellers

well and truly perform his duties of Guardian towards the said minor orphans and

in all respects discharge his duty faithfully then this obligation to be void

else to remain in full force and virtue.
