Calvin J. Boon, Guardian of Sion Boon Heirs

State of Tennessee, Gibson County

Know all men by these presents that we Calvin J. Boon Jeremiah B. McWherter &

Benjamin Boon of the county and state aforesaid are held and firmly bound unto

J. D. Hill Chairman of the County Court for said county and his successors in

office in the penal sum of three thousand dollars to be paid to said Justice or

his successors in office or assign to which payment well and truly to be paid we

bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators jointly, severally and

firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 5th day of July

1842.

The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound

Calvin Boon this day renewed his Guardian Bond of Ratcliff J. James & Alphus

Boon heirs of Sion Boon. Now should the said Calvin J. Boon well and truly

perform the duties of Guardian towards the said minor orphans and in all

respects discharge his duty faithfully unto this obligation to be void else to

remain in full force and virtue.
