Thomas Fite to  State of Tennessee, Gibson County

Guardian Bond to

March Term 1837

Know all men by these presents that we Thomas Fite Elisha Billingsly

William Gant and N. O. K. Cole of the county and State aforesaid are

held and firmly bound unto A. S. Davidson Chairman of the County Court

for said County and his successors in office in the sum of five thousand

dollars to be paid to said Justice or his successors in office or

assigns to which payment was and truly to be made we bind ourselves our

heirs executors and administrators jointly severally and jointly by

these presents sealed with our seals and dated this

6 day of March 1837.

The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above

bound Thomas Fite was this day chosen and appointed guardian of Sarah,

Sion, Ratliff, Cinthia, Bess, James, Manalcies. Eliza and Thomas Boon

minor heirs of Sion Boon deceased whose now thereto the same Thomas Fite

will and truly perform the duties of Guardian towards the said minor

orphans and in all respects discharge his duty faithfully this

obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue.
