The convent sold the grounds for commercial use in 1963 and
moved to 3060 Baskin Ave (Frayser) Mar 27, 1964. It is known
as De Neyville Heights School for girls.
There were Civil War soldiers buried here
As to how many graves - Unknown
At the time of sale they were trying to contact family members to
move their graves.
It is now called the Bettis Cemetery
for Tillman Patterson Bettis, his grave is the oldest known burial
in Shelby County, TN.
Located on N Angelus Rd between Madison and Poplar Avenues on west
side of road.
Home Depot owns the property is now rests on and stone wall
surrounds the cemetery and a Memorial Plaque "Bettis Cemetery"
