Mrs. Jim Warren

Mrs. Virvie Ann Warren, wife of Jim Warren, died Sunday morning at her home at Cairo at the age of 74. Mrs. Warren was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Burnett, pioneer residents of Crockett County.

She was a fine Christian character and numbered her friends by her acquaintances. She will be greatly missed in the Cairo community and other sections where she was well known. Mrs. Warren was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Her husband and two sons, Clarence Warren, merchant at Cairo, and Lannie Warren of Memphis, survive her.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pond Creek Methodist Church by Rev. Frank Perry of Crockett Mills with Ronk Funeral Home in charge.
