The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, January 8, 1948 Vol. 15 No. 45 Mrs. W. A. Adams, member of a pioneer Crockett County family and widow of Will Adams, widely known farmer and landowner, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles C. Brown in Nashville. She was 75. Mrs. Adams was born in Crockett County and spent most of her life there. She was a longtime member of Lebanon Methodist Church near Halls. She leaves two sons, Graham Adams, Halls and Louis Adams, Gainesville, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Brown and Miss Willie Belle Adams, Holdenville, Okla., and her sister, Mrs. E. E. Jordan, Maury City, Tenn. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lebanon Methodist Church with Rev. C. C. Lewis and Rev. W. T. M. Jones officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Sudbury Funeral Home in charge.
