Calvin was the son of William J. CLEMENT (1788-abt 1867) and Mary BRASFIELD

(1790-1836) They married 05 SEP 1809 in Granville Co, SC.

Calvin C. CLEMENT married three times:

1) Mary E. HAMILTON (1821-1847) on 9 DEC 1839

2) Mary A. FLY (1817-1860) on 13 NOV 1849

I C C Clement of the County of Gibson and State of Tennessee do make and publish

this my last will and Testament, thereby revoking & making said all former

Wills by me at anytime heretofore made. First I direct that my body be decently

interred, in a manner suitable to my condition in life, and as to such worldly

estate as it has pleased God to instruct me with, I dispose of in the following

manner. First, I direct that all of my debts and Funeral expenses be paid as

soon after my decease as possible out of my moneys that I may be possessed of,

as may come into the hands of my Executor for any portion of my Estate, Real or

personal. Second, I give & bequeath unto My wife Mary the tract of land on which

she lived at the time of our marriage, together with all and every species of

property belonging to her at the time of such marriage; that can be procured:

also the crop that may be on the said farm at the time of my demise. I also

direct my Executor to set apart for my wife Mary a Horse & her choice of my

buggies and harness. The appraised and given to her during her life: at her

death the valuation of such horse, Buggie and harness to be equally

distributed among my children. Third, I give to my two daughters, Birdie and

Endorah, Two Hundred Dollars each it being the amount due them from the Fly

Estate, also I give the said Endorah and Birdie, a horse, Saddle and bridle

each. Fourth I give to may grand children Theodocia Warmath Calvin B Warmath

Thomas H Warmath and Carah Warmath fifty dollars each as their distributive

share of my estate. Fifth, I will that after my death, that the property not

heretofore disposed of be sold at the discretion of my Executor, and the

proceeds equally divided between my heirs. (viz, Sarah C Mathews, America

Warmath, Birdie Clement and Endorah Clement. Sixth, I do hereby make and ordain

and appoint W. E. Mathews my Executor of this my last will and Testament and

witness where of, I CC Clement, the said testators, have my will written on one

sheet of paper, set my hand and seal, this the 19th day of September AD 1870,AD

one Thousand Eight hundred and seventy.
