I have many family photos from Gibson County where both sides of my family came from and would like to share them with your wonderful site. My name is Mary Goodwin Powell. My mother was Patricia Jordan Goodwin, and my father, who is still living is Virgle Dalton Goodwin. I am the family archivist, and the keeper of the photos and letters. The letters that were submitted by Michale Scrape of Susan and Sam Hatchett are mine, and there are more. Sam and Susan were my maternal great great grandparents.
Patricia(Pat) my moms parents were Mary F, Hatchett Jordan and Benjamin Wesley Jordan. Virgle Dalton's my dads parents were Elver James Dalton Goodwin and Dovie Leona Morgan. All of my grandparents and their families are from the Moores Chapel Community
