My Grandmother, grandfather, Mother, Father, etc., are buried in the Flowers

Chapel Cemetery in Rutherford.   My Mother was Lalah Lou Taylor  born at home (on Gravitt's Rd, I believe) on January 24,1902.  Her Mother was Susan Rebecca Savage Taylor and her Father was Alexander Waitman Taylor Barker; she was the only daughter of Alexander Waitman Taylor and Susan Rebecca Savage Taylor.  Her brothers were Ernest, Asa, William, Robert and Charles, who died very young in the creek bed by the old house that is now torn down.  The original property is now owned by the Kings on Gravitt's Rd.  He is related to me because his Grandmother, Aunt Molly King, was my Grandfather's

sister.

Donald Taylor, who died last year in Rutherford, was my first cousin; his

widow, June, and his sons still live there.  His sister, Betty Taylor Kelly, lives

in Union City.  My ashes will also be placed in the Flowers Cemetery in an urn

by my Mother.

I found my Mother's name on a 1910 Census; this is the only

proof that she even lived.  My Great Grandmother was Jane Adeline Flowers; she

married Edmond Franklin Taylor, so I am connected to the Taylors and the

Flowers.  My Grandfather Alexander also had a sister that I called Aunt Molly

King, so I am related to the Kings too.
