Funeral services for Genrose Boyd, 77, were held Saturday, March 10, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Ronk Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Kendrick officiating. Burial was at Gadsden Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd, a resident of Gadsden and a housewife, died Thurs- day, March 8, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was preceded in death by a brother, J. H. Davis.
She is survived by her husband, James Boyd; a daughter, Carol Melton; a brother, Jim Davis; and two grandchildren, Brandon Avery and Tyler Avery.

(Genrose Davis Boyd was born 10 Mar 1923, the daughter of J. Harless and Tha Evans Davis.)
