To: Deed ] For and in consideration of Sixteen & 50/100 dollars to me in hand paid, I

] E. Kilzer have this day bargained sold and conveyed unto A. Bailey all title, A.

Bailey ] claim and interest I have in and to the following described tract of land

situated In the 4th Dist. Of Gibson Co. Tenn and contains fifty-five (55) acres, and

is one half of the land bought by me on the 24th day of Nov. 1877, at a sale of said

land by M. C. Holmes, Clerk & exc. In the case of M. E. Brown, Administrator vs.

Heirs exc. of Allen Belts, dec'd and I bind myself, heirs exc to forever warrant and

defend the title of said land against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. This

Jany 21st 1879 E. Kilzer State of Tennessee ] Personally appeared before me M. C.

Holmes, Clerk of the Court of said Gibson County ] said county, E. Kilzer, the

bargainer to the attached deed with whom I am personally acquainted, and acknowledged

that he executed the same for the purpose therein contained.
