About The Carroll County Historical Society

The Carroll County Historical Society is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1971 to bring together people who were interested in the history of Carroll County, Tennessee. The society's primary function is to cooperate with public officials in preserving and making accessible the county, city and township records for historical research purposes. The society has also undertaken the preservation of historic buildings, monuments and markers within the county.
