Genealogical Library Collections

The Genealogical Library contains a unique collection of books and microfilm material that focus upon the history of Tennessee, with a specialty in the northwestern region of the state and Carroll County. The library also has a significant collection of genealogical resources such as family histories, census materials and regional indexes to cemeteries, obituaries, and city and county court records. Volunteers from the Carroll County Historical Society provide research assistance and welcome questions from non-members.
