Will
I Gray B. Barker of the County of Gibson County, Tennessee do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all others by me made.
1st - I wish my Funeral expense as well as all my just debts first paid out of any means on hand or may first some to hand.
2nd - I give to my beloved wife, 120 acres of land where I now live for life.   If I sell it the tract I purchase for life. Remainder to my son Gray B. Barker,  his heirs and assigns & If I died without any land, then two Thousand Dollars in money, for her use & benefit, until my son Gray arrives the age of Twenty one years, when she will pay him said Two Thousand dollars, less the interest on the sum. I also give her choice of horses or mules, if none, one be purchased for her, one ____ ____, cow & calf, two beds & steads, clothing &`c, Household & Kitchen furniture, such farming tools as she may wish and a years provisions, to be laid off to her by B. M. Taylor & Gus S. Barker, & such of my stock of Hogs as she may wish.
3rd - I give my son Gray, the land given my wife at her death & if I died without any, then $2000, at his arrival at Twenty one years, which is willed to my wife, that period.
4th - I have given my daughters ?(Sealy), my daughter Martha, my daughter Delila, to my daughter Elizabeth equally, except my daughter Delila & Elizabeth, whom I gave each a negro woman a peace & they lost them by the War, for which they are not chargable within the division of my Estate.
5th - I give to my son Westly G. Barker, in money & property four hundred & sixty five dollars. Now if he comes & sees me in my lifetime, I make him equal with my other children, that is $1300, chargable to my daughter & if he does not, he has no more.
6th - I give to my son Gus S. & my daughter ?(Duradey) Torrence, all the remainder of my Estate to be divided equally between them, charging each what I have given according to my book.
7th - I nominate & appoint my friend David A. Jones my Executor of this my Will. This 20th Oct 1869
