From Milan to Bradford on Hwy. 45, turn right onto Cades-Atwood Rd. (Some people locally call this "County Line" Rd). Travel 3.6 miles and turn left onto Poplar Springs Rd. (There is a church sign at this point.) The cemetery will be 1.2 miles on your right.
It has a lengthy history with some headstones dating to Civil War era. The oldest part of the cemetery is very visible upon driving past. There is a cluster of old cedars on a gentle hill. Most of the older headstones are found here along with many sandstone markers. The more recent burials surround this hill on three sides.

A monument was erected in 1998 in memory of Lucy Bryant of the Cherokee tribe.
Many of her descendants attended the dedication ceremony. One of her direct
descendants has written a book on his search of this family line. Many of the
