If go west on Hwy 77 from Dyer for about 2-2 1/2 miles - you will see the Tollie Gordon Road Sign and you can only turn right off of Hwy 77 on to the road. You go north for about 2/3 of a mile, you cross a narrow bridge over a Creek and from this bridge you can see the cemetery location on top of the hill to the left. There is a large grove of trees at the edge of an agricultural field and it is located right next to Tollie Gordon Road. This is where the cemetery is located and was the site of the old Flowers Plantation and home place. It was close to a creek for water and as family member died, they buried them there in the yard close to home - this is how Flowers Cemetery got started. Virtually all of the people buried there are Flowers or Flowers Family members that married into the family. If you come south from Crossings Road (that's where Tollie Gordon Road ends) then the cemetery will be on your right, before you get to the creek. Incidentally, Tollie Gordon was also related to and a member of the Flowers Family.
