From Trenton, east on Hwy. 104 turn left on
Concord-Cades Rd. Go 1.9 miles- turn left on Hickman Rd.
(its a dead end). Park on
the first rise. Look to your right. There is a fairly extensive inactive cemetery in
the
wooded area- approx. 1 acre. Very few headstones remain, but you can see rows of
indentations all over the woods.
Just as you turn on Hickman Rd., if you look to your left, you will
see the imprint of an old roadbed
that led to a Primitive Baptist Church. The present
gravel road actually lays in the cemetery.
Some of the local historians think there are
graves on both sides of the gravel road but no
markers have been found to the left.
