Williams Services To Be at Bradford

BRADFORD, Tenn. – Mrs. Vennie Knott Williams, 84, died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lorene McCartney, here.

          She was the widow of Carroll Williams.  She was a lifelong resident of Gibson County .

          Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Idlewild Baptist Church with the Rev. H. A. Douglas of Milan officiating.  Burial at the Idlewild cemetery with Hunt Funeral Home in charge.

          She was a member of the Shiloh General Baptist Church .

          She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. McCartney and Mrs. Effie Sellers of Bradford and Mrs. Eunice Vick of Chicago ; four sons, W. G. Williams, Fred Williams and Odis Williams, all           of Bradford, and  Henry Williams of Atwood; a sister, Mrs. Eula Page of Greenfield; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

          BRADFORD, Tenn. , March 24.—Services for Mrs. Vinna Knott Williams, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Idlewild Baptist Church near here.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Hunt           Funeral Home of Bradford in charge.

          Mrs. Williams, who was 84, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred McCartney of Bradford , after a long illness.  She was the widow of Carroll Williams.
