KENTON - Josephine Midyett Smith, 79, of Memphis, formerly of
Kenton, retired employee of Advertising Checking Bureau, died
Wednesday at Ave Maria Nursing Home in Bartlett of complications
from Alzheimer disease. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Karnes
Funeral Home with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery. She was a member
of Brownsville Church of Christ. She leaves a daughter, Sonja Jo Smith
Hallman of Marietta, Pa.; a son, Sidney Blair Smith Jr. of Lancaster, Pa.,
and three sisters, Sue M. Bowen, Claire M. Mosley and Frances M.
Williams, all of Bartlett.
