George Miller Davis, TRENTON

Services for George Miller Davis, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at Shelton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Yorkville Cemetery.

Mr. Davis, a retired employee of Pet Milk Co., died Monday, February 3, 2003 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Mr. Davis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trenton and a member of the Rice Adams Sunday School Class. He was also a WWII Army Veteran.

He is survived by his sons, George Robert Davis and wife, Sheila of Milan and Jerry Davis and wife, Gladys of Martin; daughter, Jane Gowan and husband, Ricky of Trezevant; sisters, Jean Mooney of Dalton, GA and Ann Williams of Newbern; grandchildren, Jamie, Scott, Ginger and Brad Davis and Jonathan Gowan; and great grandchildren, Faith and Bentley Davis.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Media Davis, a sister, Luna Earle Austin and a grandson, Michael Allen Davis.
