Edith Morris Anthony, 88, died Wednesday, March 5th, at Jackson-Madison County
General Hospital. She was the widow of Henry V. Anthony and a life long
resident of Humboldt. She was a member of Fruitland Presbyterian Church, where
she taught Sunday School for many years.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John W. Anthony and Howard V. Anthony, and one daughter, Faye Marie Anthony.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Lehman and Pat Anthony of Clinton, AR and Jack and Barbara Anthony of Horn Lake, MS; two daughters and their husbands, Mae & Earl Harris of Humboldt and Doris and Bill Ledbetter of Southhaven, MS; a sister, Naomi Byrd of Jacksonville, FL; and a brother, Lee Morris of Dyersburg; fourteen grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
