John WEST was born in 1788 in Bladen Co., North Carolina. He married
Elizabeth Frazier, daughter of Thomas Frazier and Elizabeth Fowler. John
and Elizabeth had 12 children, Noel E., Owen, Ollin, Daniel, Thomas J., Sarah
Jane, Elizabeth, Phillip Herrington, Martha Ellen, John W., Jeanette, and George
Harrison.
Thomas Frazier was involved with the Revolutionary War as was Elizabeth Fowler's
father.
Sometime between 1832 and 1836, John West moved his family to Gibson County,
Tennessee along with Thomas & Elizabeth Fowler Fazier. They lived in
the South East part of Gibson Co. Eldest son, Noel, established West
Station.
About 1853, Owen, Ollin, and Sarah Jane and her husband, James Price, moved to
Conway and Yell Counties in Arkansas.
