Thomas Wallis was born April 15, 1846, the son of Elias Wallis and Lucindy Goore. He fought in the Calvary during the Civil War. Thomas married Susan Frances Foster in Mayfield, Kentucky. He died November 23, 1920 in Birdell, Randolph County, Arkansas and is buried in Old Union Cemetery, Imboden.

Susan Foster Wallis was born in January, 1851 in Humbolt, Tennessee. She died May 17, 1931 in Birdell, Arkansas and is buried in Old Union Cemetery.

Thomas and Susan had the following children:

1) William Elias Wallis, b. 12 Nov 1867, Humboldt, Tennessee; m. Minnie Oaks Young; died Jan 26, 1917 in Sharum, Arkansas, buried in Old Union Cemetery.

2) Cora Wallis, b. August, 1875 TN; m. William Crocker.

3) Bula Ann Wallis, b. October 2, 1882 Tennessee; married twice: Charles Jackson and John H. Lingle; died February 9, 1924 and is buried in New Hope Cemetery, Pollard, Arkansas.

4) Thadeous Edward Wallis, b. Jan 1, 1885 Tennessee; married twice: Allie Hufstedler and Ethel Starling; died February 13, 1973 and buried in Old Union Cemetery, Imboden.

5) Pearl Wallis, b. September, 1887 Tennessee; married Lewis Sells on Dec. 29, 1907 in Pollard, Clay County, Arkansas.

6) Bertha Iva Wallis, b. Sept. 1888 Tennessee; married Terrance Virgil Cooper on July 28, 1917 in Clay County, Arkansas.

7) Fannie Wallis, born in Gibson County, Tennessee; married Oscar B. Crocker; died in 1954.

Oscar Berry Crocker was the son of Benjamin Howard and Martha Ann Howard Crocker.

8) James Wallis, married twice: Betty Blurton and Nanny May.

9) Carrie Wallis.
