Goodloe & Wife To Deed Henry A. King Registered 4 of Novr. AD 1871 For and in consideration of fourteen hundred dollars to me in hand fixed the ___ whereof is hereby ____ conveyed I.M.H. Goodloe & wife Elizabeth Goodloe have this day bargained so & by their consents do bargain sell & convey unto H.A. King do (?) of our right title and interest forever in an undivided half of the following described tract of land situated in the county of Gibson & state of Tennessee civil district No. 7 & bounded as follows: bounded on the North by Richardson ____ on the west by the land of G.B. Holder (?) on the South by the lands of Wm. A. Thomas & on the East by the lands of Barksdale & Thomas containing by estimate 69 acres to have and to hold the said undivided half of said 139 for ____ we do covenant with the said H.A. King that we are lawfully seized of said land & have a good right to convey it that the ___ unencumbered we do further bind ourselves our heirs representatives to wit forever warrant & defend the title of said land to the said King his heirs & assigns against the lawful claims of all persons ___ ___ whatsoever.
