Jesse Carraway Registered July 21 1852 To Deed B.F. Wilson This Indenture made and entered into this day 22nd of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eighty Hundred and fifty two between Jesse Carraway of the county of Obion and State of Tennessee of the one part and B.F. Wilson of the County of Gibson and State of Tennessee of the other part witnesseth that for and in cause diration of the sum of Three hundred and fifty Dollars to him in hand paid by the said B.F. Wilson the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said Jesse Carraway has this day bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell _____ and confirm unto B.F. Wilson his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the State of Tennessee and Gibson County in Range three and four and section five and on Rutherford fork of Obion river Beginning at the north east corner of Quincy Grady, tract for thirty and one half acres running thence West 149 poles to a hickory thence South one hundred and six and one eighth poles to a beach thence east one hundred and fifty four poles to a stake thence north one hundred and six and one eighth poles to the beginning the same is intended to include and exclude the said thirty and one half acre tract in the name of said Graddy and containing by Survey Seventy acres by the same more or less. To have and to hold the same to him the said B.F. Wilson his heirs and assigns and the said Jesse Carraway for himself his heirs and assigns doth covenant and agree that he has a gone rights and title to the said land and thereby is authorized to convey the same and that he will warranty and defend the rights title and claim to the said seventy acres of land to the said B.F. Wilson his heirs and assigns and from the claims of all other person or persons whatsoever In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and stated above written.
