Last Will & Testament of
JOANNA B. WILLIAMS dec'd
Set up and Established
January 6th 1862

I JOANNA B. WILLIAMS of sound mind do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me made at any time.

First. I direct that all my just debts be paid as soon after my death as possible.

Secondly: I will and bequeath to each one of my children, or their representatives, the Sum of Five Dollars.

Thirdly: I will and bequeath to my Daughter SUSAN L. WILLIAMS my negro man LAFAYETTE and two hundred dollars in money.

Fourthly - I will and bequeath to my son GEORGE M. WILLIAMS My Negro man RICHARD.

I direct that the balance of my estate be consisting of a house and Lot near Newbern, the same on which I now live, Moneys, household and Kitchen furniture and stock, be sold an other proceeds be given to my son PETER W. WILLIAMS after paying all first claims.

In case my son PETER W. WILLIAMS should die before he gets his portion of my estate, I direct that it be divided equeally between my Daughter SUSAN L. WILLIAMS and my son GEORGE M. WILLIAMS.

Sixthly: I nominate and appoint my friend GUY DOUGLASS my executor.

In witness Where of I to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this Oct. 5th 1861
