Last Will and Testament of MRS. ANN WADDY dec'd Probated Febry Term /90 Recorded February 5th /90 W. L. WILKERSON Clerk
State of Tennessee I ANN WADDY of the County and State aforesaid do make this as my Last Will and Testament, First; I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of my moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor. Secondly; I give and bequeath to my Sister SARAH BARDNER of Richmond Virginia my gold frame Spectacles and fifty dollars in money. Thirdly; I will and bequeath to my Stepson JOSEPH K. WADDY my house and Lot Lying in the town of Newbern which is bounded on the East by Adams Street, South by G. W. GREGORY West by H. PARKS 2nd and North by Main Street provided however that the said JOSEPH K. WADDY Shall pay to his brother JOHN W. WADDY the sum of two hundred dollars as his interest in said Lot. I also bequeath to JOSEPH K. WADDY my bedstead and Lounge which I have had made and all my household and Kitchen furniture except my bed and bedding that Stands in the North room of my house with the necessary clothing which I will and bequeath to JOHN W. WADDY. I also bequeath To JOHN W. WADDY my gold watch and after the above is complyed with in case there shall be any money Left, then the said JOHN W. WADDY and JOSEPH K. WADDY divided it equally between them I appoint JESSE F. WILLIAMSON my Executor without his being required to give bond as such. I also request that if there should be anything Left unmentioned in this will that the same be divided between my Step sons JOHN W. & JOSEPH K. WADDY. In witness whereof I do to this my my will set my hand this the 27th day of April One Thousand eight hundred and eighty eight ANN WADDY (seal)
