In the Name of God Amen -
I, H. L. W. TURNEY of Dyer Co. Tennessee do make and constitute this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others by me at any other time.

1 Item - I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses, including a monument of my grave to be selected by my Executor, be paid by my Executor hereafter to be named out of the first moneys derived from my estate which comes into his hands -

2nd Item - I will that all of my personal property except my law Books be sold by my Executor on a twelve months credit taking notes with approved security for the same within sixty days after my death -

3rd Item - I will all of my law Books to the Barr at Dyersburg, Tennessee and desire that they be kept in the clerk & Master's office for the benefit of the Dyersburg Lawyers and those practicing at the Dyersburg Barr -

4th Item - I will that the land I own at the time of my death be sold by my Executor on the first Monday in January or April next after my death - and that it be advertised as long as two months before sale and sold for one third cash, one third due in 12 months and one third due in two years.

5th Item - I will all of the money derived form the sale of my personal and real property and from all other sources which may come into the hands of my Executor or Executor to my beloved mother MARY TURNEY of De Kalb County, Tennessee after first paying my Executor liberally for executing this my last will.

6th Item - I will that should I die between the 1st day of January and the 1st day of October and W.G. WELCH is living in my dwelling house at the time of my death then and in that event that said WELCH have the use of said dwelling house and twenty five acres of land free of rents or charges for said year.

7th Item - I hereby nominate and appoint DANIEL E. PARKER Executor of this my last will and testament.
