Last Will and Testament of NAT P. TATUM dec'd Probated Jany. Term 1891 Recorded Jany. 19th 1891 A G. DAVIS Clerk, Co. Co. I, N. P. TATUM do make and publish this as my Last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all others by me at any time made - First - I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible, out of any monies that I may die possessed of, or may first come into the hands of my Executor - Secondly: - I give and bequeath to TILDA ANN CHITWOOD wife of S. A. CHITWOOD Sixteen Hundred and Thirty dollars already paid by me to S. A. CHITWOOD - Thirdly: - I give and bequeath to M. B. WEBB, wife of G. W. WEBB Twenty five Hundred dollars, already paid in land and money - Fourthly: - I give and bequeath to G. M. TATUM Twenty three hundred and thirty Dollars already paid in money and land - Fifthly: - I give and bequeath to C. E. FEATHERSTON, wife of W. S. FEATHERSTON, Twenty two Hundred and seventy dollars - already paid in money to W. S. FEATHERSTON - Sixthly: - I give and bequeath to I. S. TATUM Sixty Two and one half acres of land Known as the PHIL WALKER place in District No. 8 valued at fifteen hundred and Sixty Two Dollars and fifty cents - and I have already paid I. S. TATUM Three hundred and Thirty seven dollars and fifty cents in money, making in all, Nineteen hundred Dollars. Seventhly: - I give and bequeath to A. B. TATUM four Hundred and Ten Dollars, already paid in money, and I want A. B. TATUM to have my home place, commencing at G. W. WEBBS S. E. corner runs thence west 161 1/2 poles to WITTS E. line and WEBBS south west corner, thence south 109 poles to E. BLOOMINGDALE'S north line and E. CHITWOODS south east corner. Thence East 155 2/11 Poles to white oak Tree in COKERS north line, Thence north 89 1/2 poles to a stake with sweet gum pointers. Thence east to a stake with hornbeam gum and ash pointers. Thence west 65 1/2 poles to ____ hackberry in WEBBS East line, Then south with WEBBS line 52 1/2 poles to the Beginning - containing by estimation 136 1/6 acres more or less valued at thirty four hundred and six dollars & twenty five cents. The said A. B. TATUM it to have this land during his life, and then to his widow - so long as she remains his widow, and then to his children if any, if none, To N. P. TATUM'S Estate - in all thirty Eight hundred and sixteen Dollars and Twenty Five cents. I think that will be more than his part of my estate, and he is to pay back to the Estate of N. P TATUM, to make him equal with the rest of the heirs - Lastly: - I do hereby nominate and appoint G. M. TATUM my Executor. The said G. M. TATUM is to have full right to sell the remainder of my land and make Title to same and the proceeds of same and all other monies that may be collected by him of my estate shall be divided among the heirs to make them all equal - I hold notes of One Hundred and Ninety five dollars and twenty cents against G. W. WEBB - and if said WEBB fails to pay said notes - The same is to be deducted from his children part of my estate - I hold notes of one hundred and thirty two Dollars and fifty cents against S. A. CHITWOOD - and if said CHITWOOD fails to pay said notes the same is to be deducted from his childrens part of my Estate - In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand this the 8th day of Aug. 1890 N.
