ZACH WATKINS Clk.

In the Name of God - Amen - I, ALEXANDER B. STALLCUP do make and publish this my last will and testament - hereby revoking and making void all others by me at any time made -

First - I direct that my funeral expenses and all of my debts be paid as soon as possible out of any moneys I may die possessed of, or may first come into the hands of my administrator or Executor -

Secondly - I give and bequeath to my beloved wife ADELAID STALLCUP a dower interest in all of my real estate as long as she may live, the remaining two thirds to be divided equally between my two sons to wit; BEAUFORD, and RICHARD JOHNSON STALLCUP

Thirdly - To MARGARET REBECCA ANDERS, I wish and desire to have the sum of "forty" Dollars yearly for as long as she may live, out of any moneys that may be left by me - further, should the money or personal property be exhausted before the death of the said MARGARET REBECCA - then the two sons of name above referred to shall be required to furnish her the sum of "forty" dollars yearly as heretofore required by me, and that the real estate of both boys be liable for said amounts to her yearly.

Fourthly - to the 2 children of MARY ANN BAILEY, who is dead, I give nothing, because I have heretofore given to their mother all that I felt able to do & further that I consider that she was fairly dealt, by me -

Fifthly; To the 2 children of my daughter ELIZABETH FRANCIS I give nothing - Because I have already given to their mother what I consider her share of my property to wit; the sum of ($1400.00)

Sixthly: to my son WM. J. STALLCUP I give and bequeath the sum of five dollars - having already given him the sum of ($1442.00) which I consider his full share of my property - He is to have nothing more -

Seventhly - To my daughter HARRIET AMANDY BALLENTINE the sum of five dollars - and nothing more - I have heretofore given her something and further, her conduct toward me and her life has been so bad and disgraceful that I do not intend for her to have anything whatever that I may leave.

Eighthly - The one third interest of my real estate at the death of my wife to decend to the 2 boys above referred to, to wit; BEAUFORD STALLCUP and RICHARD JOHNSON STALLCUP

Ninthly - If any personal property be left by me - all of it is to be equally divided between my wife ADELAID and BEAUFORD STALLCUP and RICHARD JOHNSON STALLCUP - and if either of them or both should be under the age of twenty one years I desire and request that the County Court appoint a guardian for them to take charge of their portion and manage for them until they shall arrive at their majority - whatever my wife may leave at her death I desire to go to my two children above referred to, to wit; BEAUFORD STALLCUP and RICHARD JOHNSON STALLCUP.

In witness whereof I do to this my last will set my hand and seal on this the 10th day of February A. D. 1874 -

A. B. STALLCUP (seal)
