In the Name of God, Amen. I, L. W. SORRELL of the county of Dyer and State of Tennessee being of sound mind & memory, blessed be Almighty God, for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament - I give and bequeath to my beloved wife SARAH L. SORRELL and daughter ELVICA T. SORRELL all of my household furniture and all the rest of my personal property after paying from the same the Medical bill and funeral expenses, to be theirs forever - I also give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife SARAH L. SORRELL and ELVICA T. SORRELL, daughter, all the rest and residue of my personal property, I further give and bequeath to my beloved wife SARAH L. SORRELL and ELVICA T. SORRELL, daughter, fifty acres of land of the side of tract beginning at North East corner at the grave-yard, running thence South, thence west clear the tract to the west boundary line making fifty acres including houses and orchard to my beloved wife SARAH L. SSORRELL during during her life, after her death to go to my daughter ELVICA T. SORRELL, the remainder of the tract to be divided North and South in equal No. of acres amongst the rest of my lawful heirs - and after divided them each lot to be valued then those getting the lots worth the most they are to pay to the others so as to make them equal in valuation giving A. C. SORRELL and C. L. KEE chois lots on account of timber, the remaining heirs to draw for theirs - I do nominate and appoint my beloved wife SARAH L. SORRELL to be the sole Executrix of this my last will and testament. In testimony thereof I set my hand and seal and publish and decree this to be my last will and testament in presence of the witnesses named below - This April 14 in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five -
