Last will and Testament of W. H. SIMPSON dec'd Probated May 2, 1892 Recorded May 13th 1892 A G. DAVIS Clerk By H. P. DOYLE, D. C. It is my will and wish that if I should die while in Middle Tennessee that the place belonging to me, known as the STUTTS place east of the Grave yard shall be given to ELLA COOPER her lifetime and at her death if she has no (heirs) bodily to revert to my heirs. June 9th 1891 W. H. SIMPSON This is to certify that if I should die before I return from Dawson, this wish written on the other side must be in full force until canceled by me - W. H. SIMPSON
State of Tennessee This day a paper writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of W. H. SIMPSON was produced in open Court for probate - whereupon came JNO. N. PARKER and CHAMBLIN SIMPSON into open Court, who being duly sworn deposed and said that they are and were well acquainted with the handwriting of W. H. SIMPSON in his lifetime and with said W. H. SIMPSON - and that each and every part of said paper writing is in the genuine handwriting of said W. H. SIMPSON - That he was at the date of writing the same of sound mind and memory and that said paper writing was by him delivered to ELLA COOPER, and that said W. H. SIMPSON died before his return from Dawson as mentioned in said paper. It further appeared to the Court that no will or other paper has been found amongst the papers of said W. H. SIMPSON annulling changing or in anywise modifying or altering the said paper here presented to the Court. It is therefore ordered and decreed by Court that said paper writing be set up probated and established as the ____ will of said W. H. SIMPSON - and same be admitted to record.
