Last Will and Testament of MILLY PRIVITT - dec'd Proven & Set up at the October Term County Court Recorded Oct. 4, 1865 I MILLEY PRIVITT being in my Propper mind make this my last will and testament and appoint WILLIAM MARCHANT to carry into effect it's provisions without being required to give Security in the provision. To Wit Whereas I am entitled to an amount not Known by me Father DAVID BAILEYs estate of ___ County, North Carolina and JUDAL GODDIN his adminstrator and designing to give all or a part of the said means to my Grand Daughter MARY ANN PRIVITT I hereby will and bequeath to her after my death five hundred dollars ($500) of said legacy which shall by WM. MARCHANT be received and held for her until she married or becomes of age and on her marriage it shall by said MARCHANT be invested for the benefit her and her issue and not to be subject to the debts of her husband but it remains Solely for her and her children if any She may have. And to be invested at the direction of WM. MARCHANT given under my hand & seal this __ day July 1859 MILLEY PRIVITT (Seal)
