In the Name of God: Amen -

In the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty nine I EPHRAUM POWERS being feeble in body but sound in mind do make this my last will and testament:

After my just debts are paid I will and bequeath to my wife WEALTHY POWERS all my property consisting of land, Stock, household and kitchen furniture, during her natural life and after death my estate shall be equally divided between my two sons, JOHN and EPHRAUM POWERS, dividing the land east and west -

I leave my two sons, JOHN POWERS and EPHRAUM POWERS, Executors to my Estate and hereby exempt my Executors from giving security - August the 11th 1869
