State of Tennessee Dyer County

I DANIEL E. PARKER SENIOR of Dyer County State of Tenn. do make the following disposition of my property and it is my last will and Testament.

I give to my wife MARTHA PARKER one third of my home tract of land including my dwelling house and as much of the Farm as it may be necessary for her to cultivate yearly to make a support during her life time. I give my wife MARTHA PARKER all of my household and kitchen furniture, all of the plantation tools; one third of stock and cattle, Hogs and sheep, one yoke of Oxen Wagon or cart as she may select; one third of my crop that may be on hand at the time of my death; also negro woman MARTHA and her two children ELIZA and boy GRAN, Man ELLICK and his wife MARGARET and their three children BILL PERNETT and WINNEY, girl ABBEY daughter of RACHEL & Man ERAMUS, the above named Negroes I give my wife during her life time, and at her death to my son DANIEL E. PARKER JR. It is my wish that my wife and Son DANIEL E. PARKER live together there by doing away the necessity of dividing my property, Injoin it and my son DANIEL to take especial care of his Mother; though I have no fears on that subject.

I give to my Daughter MARY ANN HARRIS during her life time the tract of land I purchased of my Brother WILLIAM PARKER containing estmation Eight Hundred and five acres, also one other tract of land adjoining it I purchased of GEORGE R. MULHERENE, estimated One Hundred and Fifty one acres. I also give my daughter MARY ANN HARRIS the following named negroes during her life time, to wit; DOLDMAN HARBERT, man NELSON, man LEWIS, man NICHOLAS, man DOCK or LARKIN Boy JAMES, Woman ELIZA and her four children TOM, MARY and WILLIAM Woman VINEY and her five children. ANDREW, TACK, HENRY ISBELL and MARTHA; and Woman PRICILLA and her two children LUTITIA and GEORGE The above named land and negroes I wish my Daughter to have the use and profits there of during her life time, and at her death to be equeally divided between her children.

I also give my Daughter MARY ANN HARRIS all Horses, Mules, Cattle, Hogs, Oxens, Carts Plantation tools crop on hand at the time of my death.

I give also to my son DANIEL E. PARKER JR. all the property I gave to my wife MARTHA PARKER during her life time of every description I also give my son DANIEL my home plantation and my adjoining tracts of land containing Thirty odd Hundred Acres, together with all the negroes on the plantation or that I may be possessed of at the time of my death, Stock of all kinds, cart or wagon crop of all kinds not given to my wife or otherwise disposed of at the time of my death.

I also give to my son DANIEL E. PARKER JR. all Notes & accounts which may be due me at the time of my death, together with all the money on hand at the time of my death, and my other property and possessions both real or Mised, and all other interest whatsoever. I direct my son DANIEL to pay all my just debts as soon as possible.

I do nominate and appoint my son DANIEL E. PARKER JR. my sole Executor to this my last will and testament In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the 30th day of May one Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty six.
