Last will & Testament of JACKSON PACE deceased Probated at Aug. Term 1873 Recorded August 20th 1873 W.M. WATKINS clerk I, JACKSON PACE of the State of Tennessee and the county of Dyer do this the 23rd day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy three make my last will and testament. I JACKSON PACE do appoint J.R. HERRIN, as my Executor of this my last will and Testament to execute and settle all of my just debts and claims, and I do further more give the said LERA HEATH until December the twenty-fifth, Eighteen Hundred and Seventy five to make the last payment on a tract of land sold by me to him – And I, JACKSON PACE do request J. R. HERRIN make an equal division of my affects to my children after all of my just debts are settled and paid – I do further more give and bequeath to RAINEY HALLUM the sum of fifty Dollars – I also give and bequeath to ELLEN HERRIN, the sum of fifty-dollars – The above two sisters are to have the above amount and then an equal division then amongst my children – Given under my hand and seal, day and date above written signed JACKSON PACE (seal)
