Last Will & Testament of ALFRED P. O'NEIL Dec'd Proven & Established at the January & April Term of the County Court of Dyer County 1863
State of Tennessee I, ALFRED P. O'NEIL do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. First - I direct that my Funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon as possible after my death out of any money that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor. Secondly - I give and bequeath to my dear wife MARGARET O'NEIL all of the tract of Land that I now live on consisting of One hundred and Twenty four acres during her natural life to-gether with the appurtenances thereto belonging - and all of the household furniture and the stock and the crop on the place at my death, and Farming utensils, and one wagon, and our Bororeche, and, - Thirdly - After the death of my wife that the above described Tract of Land I will to be divided equeally between my bodily heirs and - Fourthly - That all my negro property and notes that I may be possessed of or money at my death I will that to be equally divided between my dear wife and my bodily heirs and - Lastly - That I do hereby nominate and appoint HENRY W. O'NEIL my Executor of my last will and testament and also guardian for my children. In Witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal this November the 27th 1863. A. P. O'NEIL (Seal)
