Last Will & Testament of WILLIAM P. MENSIES dec'd Probated January Term 1876 Recorded January 25/76 ZACH WATKINS Clerk In the Name of God Amen; I, W. P. MENZIES of Dyer County Tennessee being of sound and disposing mind and memory but conscious of the certainty of Death, do make ordain, publish and declare my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me at any time heretofore made - in manner and form following, that is to say; Item First: I desire that all my just debts be paid as soon as practicable, after my decease and also my burial expenses out of any moneys that I may leave on hand or which may first come into the hands of my Executrix from the sales of perishable property - Item 2nd: I will and bequeath all my land and tenements and ______ and perishable property, with all other property that I may be possessed of and also all moneys and notes that I may have in my possession to my wife, SARAH E. MENZIES as long as she shall live and then to be equally divided between the heirs of my body. And I hereby appoint my wife SARAH E. MENZIES my Executrix of this my last will and testament. In testimony of all which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Feb. 22nd 1870 W. P. MENZIES (seal)
