I, WM. H.LANIER do make and publish this my last will and Testament

Item 1st I will and bequeath to my wife PRICILLA D. LANIER all of my effects both real and personal of every description except such as hereby mentioned in this will.

Item 2nd The tract of land lying in district No. 9 of Dyer County which I purchased of O. E. LANIER and wife, at the death of my wife PRICILLA D. LANIER I bequeath to my grand sons RAMSY APPLEWHITE son of R. H. APPLEWHITE, WM. OLLY LANIER son of P.T. LANIER and WALTER EVERETT LANIER son of HENRY E. LANIER but the said land is to remain the property of my wife PRICILLA D. LANIER during her natural life.

3rd I, give and bequeath to R. H. APPLEWHITE my watch which I have been in the habit of carrying.

Item 4th In order to secure my wife PRICILLA D. LANIER from any trouble or molestation, and to fully explain my will, I have willed her all my personal property of every description (except the watch) to be hers for her to use and dispose of during her life or at her death as she may choose.

Item 5th I bequeath to each one of my children the sum of one dollar to be paid to them out of my money that may belong to my estate.

Item 6th I hereby nominate and appoint my wife PRICILLA D. LANIER my Executrix and having full confidence in her integrity, I direct that she be allowed to execute this will without being required to execute or give bond as executrix.

Item 7th I, W. H. LANIER do further say that I am in my right mind and have calmly considered the subject and have made the above will and have made it as I believe to be my duty.
