Last will & Testament of TEMPERANCE HENDRIX dec'd Probated Jany Term 1893 Recorded Mch 21 1893 A G. DAVIS Clerk By G. P.WOOLLEN D. C. Dec. 29, 1890 Know all men by these presents that I TEMPERANCE HENDRIX of the County of Dyer and state of Tennessee being of sound mind and memory, Do this day publish and declare this my last will & testament revoking all former wills by me made. Viz. First I will that all of my debts be paid including my burial expenses and a set of Tombstones similar to the one at the grave of my husband (M. C. HENDRIX) I will HARRIETT WYATT one blue coverlet. I will NARCIS FORCUM and her children all of my wearing apparel, I will NARCIS FORCUM one blue coverlet, one set of China cups and saucers. I will DELIA COPE one dressing table, looking glass two calico quilts and one worsted quilt, one counterpane without fringe. I will IRA COPE one large Trunk, I will A. C. HENDRICKS one large folding leaf table I will REBECCA BESSENT five dollars. I will MARGARET LEACH five dollars. I will to REBECCA KELLARE my niece (of North Carolina Davis Co.) Five Dollars. I will to LOU FULFORD my niece Five dollars. I will to JANE BEAN col Ten dollars (In care of LOU FULFORD of North Carolina). The balance to my property if any after complying with and fulfilling the foregoing bequest, I will to JEFF BEAN "colored" of Dyer County Tennessee, I hereby nominate and appoint B. L. VAN EATON Executor of this my last will and Testament of whom no bond is to be required. He is to have what the law allows him for his services. Witness my hand and sealed this the 29th of Dec. 1890.
