Last Will and Testament of W.C. HALL Dec'd Set up June 6, 1810
State of Tennessee Dyer County I WILLIAM C. HALL being of sound mind and disposing memory but of feeble health and calling to mind the mortality of the body do make constitute and Ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following (viz) My body I commit to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian like manner. And my soul to God who gave it. It is my will and desire that all my lawful debts together with my burial expences be paid as soon after my death as can conviently be done by my executor whom I shall hereafter appoint It is further my will and desire that SOLOMAN S. HALLOWELL have the entire remainder of my estate after paying my debts as aforesaid and I hereby will unto him my entire estate as aforesaid, both real and personal Because when I was a stranger comparatively he took me in, and when I was out of a home he took me in and acted the part of a Samaritan and I hereby appoint SOLOMAN S. HALLOWELL my Executor to carry out my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
