Last will and Testament of MARGARET E. GRIFFIN dec'd Proven and Set up March Term 1867 Dyer County Court State of Tennessee Dyer County I, MARGARET E. GRIFFIN in the full belief of the Existence of a God and the conviction that my illness will prove fatal desire to dispose of my goods and effects as follows viz The one half of the amount of money in the hands of my Guardian I bequeath to my beloved brother NYMPHEAS REDDICK and Sisters NANCY LOUISA REDDICK MARY ETTA REDDICK and ELLA ORA REDDICK respectively the Same to be divided equally between the aforesaid persons To my beloved brother NYMPHEAS REDDICK I bequeath my new trunk to my Sister NANCY LOUISA REDDICK I bequeath my Saddle To my beloved mother SARAH E. REDDICK I bequeath my rocking chair - To my beloved Grand mother I bequeath the remaining one half of my money in the hands of my Guardian: and also to her I bequeath my mare and colt It is my desire that all of my indebted that has or may hereafter occur Shall be paid out of the amount of money now in the hands of my Guardian before the aforesaid distribution shall have been made, and I further desire that my friend GEORGE W. TAYLOR be appointed Executor of this my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto affixed my mark and placed my private Seal this the nineteenth day of August A.D.
