Last will and Testament of NICHOLAS C. GENTRY dec'd Set up August 1st 1870 State of Tennessee Dyer County I NICHOLAS C. GENTRY being in my right mind do hereby publish and make known to the world this my last will and Testament, revoking all and every will heretofore made by me; as follows to wit: In view of the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death that justice may be done and had after my desires, I do appoint and by these presents request my true and tried friend & neighbor THOMAS W. JONES to act as my Executor to carry out these my last desires, after my death. First: I desire that all of my just debts be paid out of my personal estate Second: that my dear wife EUNICE be protected in the proper use of all my real and personal Estate, so long as she lives or remains a widow, For the purposes of raising and educating all of the minor children borne to me by my said wife EUNICE. And after her death that all of my property both real and personal be sold and equally division be made between my son CHARLES born to me by my first wife MARY ANN and my children born to me by my said wife EUNICE. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this the 24th day of May 1870 N.C. GENTRY (seal)
