Will of Suffield Fumbanks

Last Will and Testament of
SUFFIELD FUMBANKS dec'd
Proven and set up at the
April Term of the County Court
for Dyer County 1863

Know all men by these presents that I SUFFIELD FUMBANKS of the county of Dyer and State of Tennessee being of sound mind and knowing the uncertainty of life and certainty of death and being desirous of making some disposition of my worldly effects do make and ordain this my last will and Testament. To wit

In the first place I will and give unto my wife MARY ANN FUMBANKS during her natural life all my Lands, or Real Estate together with the tenememts thereon.

2nd It is my will that at the death of my said wife my two sons ANDREW LEWIS FUMBANKS and JOHN CALVIN FUMBANKS have all my lands together with the tenements there on I herein give unto them as aforesaid.

3rd I give unto my two sons above named each one Thousand Dollars to be paid by my Executors here-in-after named to them out of any money belonging to my Estate.

4th I give unto my Grand Daughter (the daughter of my daughter CAROLIN KING) ELMIRA C. KING - Six Hundred Dollars to be paid by my executors to her according to Law.

5th It is my will that the remainder of my Estate at my death be divided equally among my children here-in-after named to wit MAGDELANE KING wife of JETHRO KING, ANDREW LEWIS FUMBANKS, JOHN CALVIN FUNBANKS and MARTHA ANN COBB wife of JACOB COBB - After paying my Funeral expenses and debts out of the said remainder of my Estate.

6th I do hereby nominate and appoint my two Sons ANDREW LEWIS FUMBANKS and JOHN C. FUMBANKS my Executors.

In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal, this the 17th day of March A. D. 1863.
