RICHARD CRITCHFIELD dec'd Last will & Testament Probated January Term 1878 Recorded May 22/78 ZACH WATKINS clk. I, RICHARD CRITCHFIELD do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all others by me at any time made - First; I direct that my funeral expenses and all of my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may be possessed of or that may first come into the hands of my executor. Secondly; I direct that my son by my first wife, R. C. CRITCHFIELD have five dollars and no more out of my estate from the fact that he has been disobedient and undutiful to me as his father - Thirdly; I will and bequeath the remainder of my property of every description both real personal to my wife and all of my children (excepting R. C. CRITCHFIELD as above named) to be distributed according to laws of Tennessee Fourth; I direct that the rents paid of D. W. BROWN & Co. for the lease they occupy be applied first to payment of tax - Second to payment of my debts - and that the remainder go to my wife. Fifth & Last; I direct that my land shall not be sold until my youngest child arrives at lawful age - Whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal this 11th day day of February 1876 R.
