Last Will & Testament of GEORGE W. COCKE dec'd Proven and set up at the August & September Term 1865 of Dyer County Court July 16th 1859 I GEORGE W. COCKE considering the uncertainly of human life and wishing to dispose of all the property that I now have which I do in the following manner. I loan to my wife MARY ANN R. COCKE all my part of the tract of land whereon I now live for and during her natural life and the following slaves JACK TENEB EMMILY MARY & her child NANNI & BETTY and One half of my stock of every description plantation tools household and Kitchen furniture at her death to go to my Son ALONZO COCKE and to his heirs forever I also give to my son A. COCKE one negro man named CHARLES and the residue of my estate I do constitute and appoint my son ALONZO COCKE as my only executor this Sixteenth day of July 1859 Witness my hand and seal. GEORGE W.
