Dyer County Term Mch. 13th 1890

I, JESSE CLARK being sound of mind do hearby declair and publish this my last Will and Testament. First I give and bequeath W. T. JOINER and his wife SARAH ABERGALE and their children One hundred & four acres of land known as the Benton place where I now live also my household & Furniture cow & calf Hogs & waggon.

Second; I give HENDERSON HUMPHREYS my old place One Hundred Acres lying one mile North of Dyersburg where J. W. LOW now lives and this is to be his portion of my Estate.

Third; I want the balance of my lands sold and the proceeds of my lands together with my notes and moneys due me collected and equally divided among the following named parties, first NANCIE VINYARD & her children One Eighth part of my personal Estate and the proceeds of the lands to be sold.

Second; SARAH ABERGALE JOINER and her children One Eighth part of my personal Estate and proceeds of land to be sold.

Third; J. W. LOW JR. child of ALICE HUMPHREYS LOW One Eighth part of my personal Estate and proceeds of land to be sold.

Fourth; JESSIE A. CALVIN & children One eighth part of my personal Estate and proceeds of the land to be sold and her part shall be placed in the hands of a Trustee appointed by the Courts for the benefit of her and her children for their only use and benefit

Fifth; the children of MOLLIE HENRY One eighth part of my personal Estate and land to be sold

Sixth; GEO. S. HUMPHREYS One Eighth of my personal Estate and land to be sold and the same to be held in trust by J. W. LOW for GEO. S. HUMPHREYS use and benefits

Seventh: FANNIE E. BAIN one Eighth of my personal Estate and land to be sold and the same is to be held in trust for her use and benefit by W. T. JOINER.

Eighth: MACIE HUMPHREYS One Eighth part of my personal Estate and proceeds of land to be sold

9th I give to J. W. LOW my mule which he now has in possession and I do hereby nominate and appoint I. HENDERSON DAWSON as my Executor to this my last will and testament and do nominate and empower him to sell and convey all real Estate that I am seized and possessed of not herein disposed of in as full manna as I could do myself after giving due notice either on time or for cash as may be best. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal

Codicile

I, JESSE CLARK having made my last Will and Testament bearing date the 13th day of March 1890 and desiring to make a change therein do make this codicile thereto to wit: Where as by said Will I have appointed HENDERSON DAWSON Executor thereof and having full confidence in his ability honesty and integrity. I do hereby relieve him from the necessity of giving bond as such Executor. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand This 23rd day of March 1890
