Know all men by these presents that I CLEM BENTON have this day divided my land the sought half is to go to MARIAH my wife her lifetime and then go to my daughter ELIZER ANN BENTON if she can be found this half contains 19 1/2 ninteen acres and one half my wife is to have my Jin Mule and one cow and all of the plunder around the house and in the house. I reserve a burrying ground on the north west corner of the south half for myself and family,

The north half witch is 19 1/2 of 39 thirty nine acres of witch MARY BENTON is to have her part one the north east corner of the North half her part or share is 1 one fourth of the said 19 1/2 ninteen acres and one half and the other three fourths is to go to RICHARD BENTON my son the said three fourths is part of the 19 1/2 ninteen acres and that said RICHARD BENTON is to have the same three fourths as long as he lives and then it is to go to his three children JOSEPH BENTON JULIA BENTON and LULIA BENTON this being part of the tract bought of DR. THOMAS BENTON of Dyersburg and that ROBERT COOPER and SCOTT BRANDON is to be my Guardian to see that MARIAH my wife gets the rents of the south half of the said 19 1/2 ninteen acres and one half and to see to having the fences is takin care of and to see that the Jeff Mule I bought from W. D. ROBERTS is paid out of the rent and the balance to go to my wife and that RICHARD BENTON is to build at home and let my wifes part alone and that said ROBERT COOPER and SCOTT BRANDON is to see that she my wife has her rights.
