Last Will & Testament of STEPHEN B. AKIN Dec'd Proven and established at the July Term 1864 of Dyer County Court I STEPHEN B. AKIN do make and publish as my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. First - I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed or may first come into the hands of my Executor. Secondly - I give and bequeath to my wife CATHRINE A. AKIN all my property both personal and real during her natural life or widowhood - then to be equally divided among all my children. Thirdly - It is my will and wish that each of my sons shall have the privilege of raising and Keeping a horse apiece. Fourthly - It is my will and wish if my wife CATHARINE ANN AKIN should die before my two youngest sons become large enough to support themselves, that they have a reasonable allowance made to support them and school them. Fifthly, It is my will and wish that there be no public Sale of any of my property by my executor - Lastly - I nominate and appoint my son ABNER A. AKIN my Executor.
