He was 34 years of age and was a member of the Methodist Church at Finley. Besides his father and mother, he is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter, and a brother, Clarence. Services were held Sunday by Rev. Lee and internment was at Pleasant Hill.

Burial note for James A. Williamson Sr.:
The obituary and funeral home record states that James is buried at Pleasant Hill (Old Finley) Cemetery. However, his tombstone is located in Fairview Cemetery next to his parents. When the Pleasant Hill Cemetery began to wash away, several prominent Dyer County residents had their loved ones exhumed and moved to Fairview Cemetery or other local cemeteries. There is no proof of this in writing, but it is believed that James was moved in this manner.

[Place of burial is at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, not Pleasant Hill]
